The Dems lost when they told white men they couldn't have opinions.
I like to think Irwin St. John Tucker aka 'Friar Tuck' would be looking down approvingly. My grandfather's brother.
Think of it. With the right review, you could cause a stampede of people buying loose lemons at Waitrose. With great power comes great responsibility...
As an insurrectionist, Trump cannot be President under the 14th Amendment. He is a Pretender. Nothing he has done or will do in his second term is legally binding.
I planted some spare edamame seeds in a pot this year, so I TOO am a soybean farmer...
America is very upset about migrants and drugs coming from Venezuela
So America is trying to destabilize the Venezuelan government
Which would create a lot more migrants
And open up more space for drug traffickers
He's afraid he'll get lead poisoning.
We need leaders with a plan to do that. And we don't have any.
Elected officials have NO right to lie to or mislead their constituents. Not in any way, shape, or form. Can you lie to your boss? No because you'd be immediately terminated. Same principle.
The problem with shutdowns is not that they're too painful, it's that they're not nearly painful enough. The constitutional text is unambiguous and absolute. No appropriation by Congress, no spending. On anything. Not that the executive gets to pick and choose what's "essential." Zilch. Nada.
If you think we can wait for the 2026 election to DO something, then YOU are part of the problem. That will be WAAAAAY toooo late.
How many? Two? 😆
“American cities will soon feel the full weight of the Armed Forces. And, guys, it’s just too much! Do some PT for heaven sake”
That’s been clear since Jan 6th 2021.
Fatechism. The Weight of the Lord be with You (And also with you)
It’s official: AIPAC is trying to buy my election to keep me out of Congress.
Apparently, I’m a “dangerous detractor”... by believing Palestinians (like myself and my family) deserve basic human rights.
But we’re not going to let AIPAC win.
Shut it down until Americans are pleased to vote Democratic.
Benghazi really hurt our rural hospitals.
Definitely the "most libertarian" President in history...
Westphalia! Peace in Europe or all time!
Those tactics tho! 😆
Wagram was brilliant. Absolutely stunning. Some say Grant's victory at Vicksburg showed similar flair.
I mean, I think I understood what he was trying to say. There is an implied criticism of the Left's tactics as ineffective. I broadly agree. Is that what stings for you?
Napoleon was objectively one of the most brilliant military commanders in history. Saying that does not mean I agree with his aim of taking over Europe. I hope that makes sense now.
I agree Kirk was malign. And Lee shouldn't have fought for the Confederacy. But given that he did, he was good at it. Lincoln's greatest failure was General McClellan who was a good parade ground general and said all the right things but famously "wouldn't fight."
That sounds the same. But I wouldn't say "Jefferson Davis fought wars the right way," because that would be wrong. Kirk was in the trenches, fighting a tactical fight. And per EK doing it competently.
Is the problem with the Left that you have never studied military history? I'm Independent so I don't know you in much detail. Trump is odious though, we have to fight him. Do you KNOW how to fight?
Of course you can. One of Lee's triumphs was Chancellorsville. He defied military convention, took a massive risk, and won. Says nothing about the cause of the Confederacy (which was wrong.) The tactics were effective.
How is that different from saying "Robert E Lee won many battles"?
Yes it was: "You can dislike much of what Kirk believed and the following statement is still true: Kirk was practicing politics in exactly the right way. He was showing up to campuses and talking with anyone who would talk to him. He was one of the era’s most effective practitioners of persuasion."
