Price's law originated from academic publishing, but is often generalized to "of the number of people involved in a project, the square root will be responsible for 50 percent" - Be impactful.

What exactly do you want to know ? How the numbers are calculated ? In general having a large problem database from clients is a huge advantage. I am sure they have 10K+ instances, which they use for tuning.

Great idea ! I bet the list for a similar "Grumpy OR/Optimization People" group could be quite long (and including me) πŸ˜† - You need to be a bit grumpy in this profession πŸ™ƒ

Just had a nice win with an important internal algorithm. It fits well with some previous work of extending our benchmark system with lots of visual results. The old mantra "Nice graphics always wins" can not be understated and it's even better if there were no graphics before πŸ™ƒ #orms #optimization
