Mills signs bill eliminating planned use of restraints for adults with developmental disabilities Advocates say the bill is a “civil rights victory” for people with disabilities in Maine.

Big Disability News out of Maine: Janet Mills signed a bill banning the planned use of restraints for adults with developmental disabilities. This is something disability rights activists and #ActuallyAutistic people lobbied for.
