Tracking crystallization processes can be cumbersome, specifically when samples react with the sample environment. In a special setup, enabling in situ 2- and 4-electrode impedance measurements, crystallization effects at electrodes or in the bulk can clearly be distinguished, while at the same time enabling structural characterization with X-ray diffraction.

Ewoud made his PhD at NMRCoRe, working on parahydrogen hyperpolarization. He then joined Sami Jannin @ CRMN, Lyon for a successful postdoc, developing dissolution DNP. Highly looking forward to having Ewoud back at NMRCoRe and to enable the exciting new science he is planning.

Fwo There were 1308 applications for the junior fellowships and 439 for the senior fellowships. As a result, the success rate this year fell to 16.1% (-1.3%) for junior postdocs and 15.9% (-7.8%) for senior postdocs.
