It's extraordinary how many clients felt so nurtured, loved, improved, seen and heard by Esmond. I met him 3 years ago when my book on Deep Listening was merely an idea. Now about to be published by HC in US & UK. So much of what's in it, structure and ambition, is due to him, + he was such fun.

Illuminating #DeepListening to #Trump supporters at Inauguration Day in DC. I tried to listen without judgement, curious to understand. They were welcoming, wanting to be heard, had felt excluded, 'Trump is one of us. Shares our values'. Facts waived away as fake/ old news, or 'we are all sinners'.
