Bernie's is the best. When I needed a machine to digitize a 20-year-old mini-VHS cassette recording for a story last year, they hooked me right up with an ancient camera with RCA connectors that I used to connect via analog video/audio cables to my computer interface.

She had a budget to renovate the historic Ruxton home. Then a neighbor raised the price by $160,000.
Maroney House will be the first property considered for landmark status under a new law passed in October after the surprise demolition of Choate House.
Did you know that, in Baltimore County, you can ask for the County Council to change the zoning on a property you don't own? It's true. And did you know that someone can ask for your home to be considered a historic landmark without your knowledge or consent? Also true. This is the $160,000 bargain.

One of the many reasons AI can't produce good writing is it can't hate its own writing. It can't think to itself "Maybe I'm illiterate" during the writing process. And that's essential

How Private Equity Is Changing Housing
In some communities, corporations control more than 20 percent of properties.
Corporations now own 1 in 11 residential parcels in urban areas—and more than 20% in some communities. That consolidation is leaving lower-income families at the mercy of absentee landlords with little stake in local well-being.
