Really frustrating to see the same false information spread every year. Guy trademarked his logo, not Inktober. He did it because he didn't want big brands to profit from it for free.

And to think it's designed so that it fits almost every Pilot pen. It feels like the center of compromise for otherwise great pens. 😆

On that note, I find that the CON-40 seems to behave better with my Metropolitan than in my Kakünos. Easier to get air bubbles out.

I prefer nibs with a bit of feedback these days. The feedback helps me with precise control of my lines, as I don't write in cursive. The nib resists a bit and gives me a tactile response of the stroke. I can imagine smooth gliders aiding writing that flows more than mine, though!

Did you see their holiday ink set for this year? it's shining shimmering again. 😅

Is it a vintage pen?

I had my own experience of #1! I kept looking at my hand, wondering when it would go away. Around the second week since, it finally did. 😐

There won't be a shortage of ink capacity, that's for sure!

I've also reached the point when I am not in a rush to get a new pen, because I've also gone beyond need and straight into careful collecting. It will take a bit of time before I decide on anything!

I really liked the feel of the Lamy 2k. It was very comfortable and substantial! And well, the Viper and the Skeleton are quite the visual pieces for me! Totally biased plus points for the Viper and the way it hoods the nib!

I know it's been almost 3/4 of a year before I revisited this thread. I've been meaning to respond to the posts here but the plan kept getting moved further and further! Well, all I can say is, finally! 😂

Ok, so I looked at the Laban and Pelikan pens, and I really like those color combinations! 😲 The Laban 235 looks so bright and pleasant, and the Pelikan M200 has a really striking blue and gold combination. I mean, sure, it's not the first of its kind, but it reminds me of a cool summer night sky!

A vacuum filler! I haven't tried it yet, but given how Pilot nibs are so consistent, I bet writing with it feels good. ☺️ I've only tried the Lamy 2000, and that one has a nice heft to it and writing feels soft. The Majohn looks cute, I have to say! 😄

The ones that always ready to have in hand! I get the impression that the Kakuno and the Sport has already established themselves as community favorites. ☺️ That said, the Sailor has a classic look and form that I like!

Your set looks so classy! I am beginning to feel that marbled pen bodies might be my next personal trend. 🤭

So I looked up the Conklin Hippocrates, and I didn't know I wanted one. 😄 That design looks so cool -- medical and yet also somehow mystical!

I looked up the Pelikano and the EASYbuddy, and your choices look so vibrant! Somehow they also give me this pleasant nostalgic feel. ☺️

My Kakuno dries out pretty quickly compared to my other pens, too! I agree, you'd want one that doesn't dry out too quickly when left to sit for long periods of time. Platinum pens, like the Preppy, has a mechanism that's designed exactly for that. Or maybe you already have something in your set!

All of them pretty durable! Maybe someday I'd want a TSWBI Vac, too. Someday!
