That means, those who paid about 30-35% during their work-life now want the young to pay 41%++ to fund pensioners' consumption and services.
In the debate, the burden of proof is on those what want (more) stable contribution rates.
Stimmt. Aber China macht ja schon. Bei Entwicklungsländern ist es eher so, dass dezentrale erneuerbare viel einfacher einzusetzen sind. Die haben ja oft keine großen Stromnetze. Und Bau von erneuerbaren ist ja nun schon konkurrenzlos günstig. Schwieriger ist sicherlich der Umbau bei uns.
Ein Teil der Antwort ist, dass das die falsche Statistik ist. Primärenergie ist das Maß für das Input an Energie dass wir einsetzen. Verbrennungsmotoren/Kraftwerke etc. sind aber super ineffizient. E-Motoren und Wärmepumpen sind ungefähr 3-4x so effizient.

The city implemented 30km/h limits on main roads where air quality was subpar and is now reversing it to 50km/h because ... it worked and the air is better.
Most of my young colleagues move here without much German. Probably works better here than elsewhere.
(I suspect some of the English-only bar staff is actually faking it though. Maybe they do speak German and it’s just edgier to pretend you don’t 😆)

1/ I have coached a bunch of people before doing their first public talk, and a lot of people feel «there are lots of people much more knowledgeable than me on this topic» and I felt that way too. So here’s why that doesn’t matter.
For the first time ever, wind and solar energy are covering more than 100% of demand in mainland Spain. The excess is being stored and exported. The Spanish are achieving these numbers and there is still so much more potential to tap. What incredibly exciting opportunities there are for Spain here.
Very few people change the world in an instant. A lot of people have changed the world by working their entire lives, fighting a little bit each day for something important to them.
We focus too much on the first, celebrating the founders, the celebrities who hit it big time. That devalues work.
