I’m game. I hope it rules.

I keep saying this, and they keep not listening!
You honestly don't have to show me what Twitter's saying. That's why I'm here and not there.
One of my all-time favorite episodes, Kim!!!
Because far too many people don't seem to understand what Tales from Beyond the Pale is... imagine an episode of Tales from the Crypt or The Twilight Zone, but done as an audio drama. It's basically a horror movie that you can enjoy while driving, on the subway, or out for a jog! Get on them!!!
My episode of Tales from Beyond the Pale is live, and I'd love for you to set aside 29 minutes today and give it a listen. I worked with an amazing cast and crew to tell a 1980s anti-capitalist horror story that's tons of fun from top to bottom. talesfrombeyondthepale.castos.com/episodes/epi...
idk I’ve seen a bajillion kids movies where the kids parents die & let me tell you, having a convo with my kid about how anyone can die at any time & it doesn’t matter if they’re someone’s mom or dad is way harder than having a convo about how sometimes someone has two dads or whatever. And yet

It's actually an audio show. Think The Twilight Zone-meets-those old radio dramas from the 1930s and you've got a pretty good idea of what they're like. You can listen via the Tales site, or anywhere you get your podcasts. Episodes have been directed by Ti West, Stuart Gordon, Fessenden, and more!
Starring in my 1980s-set episode are Chloë Levine, @clayvonc.bsky.social, @benhorrible.bsky.social, @xghorror.bsky.social, and @astaparedes.bsky.social. I couldn't have asked for a better group of artists to work with, and excited for you to listen to it Thursday where ever you get your podcasts!
Ours is the 54th standalone episode of Glass Eye Pix's long-running horror series, which features modern genre directors telling audio tales that harken back to classic radio dramas of the 1930s. If you have yet to discover Tales, now couldn't be a better time. <2/3> www.talesfrombeyondthepale.com
For those of you mourning tonight's series finale of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs, I'm excited and honored to reveal that Joe Bob plays a pivotal role in "Everything Must Go", my episode of Tales From Beyond The Pale which debuts next Thursday, March 12th. <1/3>
Have a hell of a night tonight, @themutantfam.bsky.social. 🍻 ♥️
My 16-year-old cousin in rural Australia DM'd me to say that he can't sleep and he's scared that The United States is going to cause the world to end.
Let that sink in.
World Central Kitchen head José Andrés confirms Israel has closed Gaza’s borders indefinitely and warns the NGO will run out of food this week. The group is currently cooking about 1 million hot meals a day.
Any movie that you feel like you have to temporarily throw aside your ethics to see.
I asked a friend who saw it and got the Cliffs Notes version. It sounds like a pile.
Setting aside your politics, ethics, or morals in order to personally enjoy something is elitist and disgusting. It’s one thing if you just don’t have them to begin with, but it’s another to blow them off so you can feel good about watching a stupid movie.
Huge congrats to @jennwexler.bsky.social on landing such a fun gig! And I think I show up somewhere in the background of a bar scene! :D deadline.com/2026/02/the-...
I grew up with Robert Carradine as Lewis Skolnick in REVENGE OF THE NERDS, very unaware of how problematic the film was until I was older. Want a great, underseen performance to remember him by? Check him out in "The Gas Station" segment of John Carpenter's BODY BAGS (1993). It's such unhinged fun.
Oh wow. I vividly remember how out-of-my-mind excited I was for this movie before it came out, and how bummed I was when I saw it. It sure is… something.
He’s playing the role like an alien wearing a human suit. Women are swooning over him, but it’s because of something other than his looks… and that’s what makes it work so well. You’re not like “Ooh, hottie!” but you *are* like “Perhaps I would die for you, master.”
Lugosi himself was insanely hot, but his Dracula is not.
Teddy’s preschool.
Via 1917's Jones-Shafroth Act, The United States government granted Puerto Ricans citizenship because they could then be drafted into the U.S. military and forced to fight for us in World War I. To imply that these people and their culture are anything *BUT* American is an insult to history.
I thought we all came here to avoid all the awful shit on X.
So why the Hell are you guys screenshotting it and sharing it here?
Sincerely,
A guy looking for some stupid form of social media that doesn't stress him out
I'd go even further and say he's a fifty-year-old *baby*, which most of us STAR WARS fans are. :)
