Suggests that this year's drop is just a delay in growth, rather than a reduction.
Of course. The attack line was always "Labour can't govern, they can't make the tough decisions". As soon as they do it's knives out from all angles.
27.03.2025 09:46 — 👍 16 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 0Of course it is, we are hearing "you cannot blame this on Tories" after 9 months in government and 14 years of chronic under investment. Yet the Tories dined out on "Labour crashed the economy" for a decade, utterly pillaging the public purse and given a wide berth by the media, when it was a lie
27.03.2025 08:49 — 👍 51 🔁 3 💬 5 📌 0It just doesn’t feed into the MSM narrative does it? 😠 I admit to being disappointed with some of Labour’s policies but honestly the right wing bias by the UK media is glaring obvious given their muted tones for the past 14yrs! 😳

The US added only 151,000 jobs in February, lower than the forecast 170,000 jobs, while the unemployment rate rose to 4.1%.
Yet again, a Republican president is blowing the strong economy he inherited from a Democrat.

I defend Labour a lot. I think they are doing a good job overall in the face of adversity. But even I cannot find a positive in this continued rejection of joining the SM or CU or anything that is offered by Europe. I want them to get this sorted. ASAP.

The thing is, I feel like if someone truly, accidentally, & unintentionally made a n*zi salute on a national stage, they would be appropriately horrified by it and apologize. And when they don’t ….. it says everything.

What we are witnessing is the normalisation of extremism. If we allow the right to pretend that the German AFD is just another conservative party... or that Donald Trump is just another president... or that Elon Musk was just getting carried away with that salute are on a distinctly dangerous path.
