We looked for breeding owls in a Wind Farm in Simo in the province of Lapland, Finland. More than 800km north of @utu.fi

Only 3 Boreal owls found nesting 🥚 in a total of more than 100 boxes 🦉 - not the best year to start with this project

I was excited to introduce my research for the first time during the AURA Symposium. I had an amazing time meeting people and getting inspired.

I was honored to receive the second-best presentation award🥈
