13.06.2025 19:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Day two of the mural project in San Pedro la Laguna Guatemala. Organized by Mayan artist Atuun Panloow and including local artists.
07.04.2025 01:53 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Mayan artists from Guatemala are repurposing an old mural in San Pedro la Laguna. It will portray images that speak to their Mayan roots and wisdom. These photos are from day one. We helped support this project by raising funds through GoFundMe. Stay posted to see the progress and finished mural!
05.04.2025 12:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think the plan is quite simple...sink the economy, then he and his billionaire cronies can buy it all up at fire sale prices.

Sharing some of the many murals in San Pedro la Laguna Guatemala. The artistic talent of this Mayan village on Lake AtitlΓ‘n is phenomenal. GuateMaya Art and Culture Connection. Our mission is to support the artists and their communities.
30.03.2025 18:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A BIG OOPS. Thanks for the correction... not sure how Mexico got in there...of course, Guatemala. My apologies.
29.03.2025 23:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Awesome painting by Mayan artist, Atuun Panloow, from San Pedro la Laguna Guatemala. See more of his and other artists' art at GuateMaya Art and Culture Connection. Our mission is to support the artists and their communities.
29.03.2025 23:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We work with Mayan artists from Guatemala. Thought you might enjoy this painting of the back of a native girl and hummingbirds by Henry Mendez. Hummingbirds have special significance in the Mayan cosmology. See more examples of the art on our website... GuateMaya Art and Culture Connection
28.03.2025 23:49 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Antigua Guatemala..one of my favorite towns in Mexico, Central America. I can just spend hours walking around taking in the colors, sounds, people... destroyed by earthquakes last century and now a fabulous mix of ruins and classic colonial architecture.
17.03.2025 21:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Some photos of Antigua, Guatemala. One of my favorite towns in all my travels.
12.03.2025 15:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Disfrutando my last day here in Guatemala...a refuge of sanity, beauty, good humor, friendliness and incredible artistic talent, you know one of those "sh_ t hole" countries... with an incredibly rich culture and history, and an amazing open mindedness and open heartedness
11.03.2025 14:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Leaving tomorrow for MΓ©rida Mexico to visit son and family there. Sorry I will miss the March 15 show. Plan to return next year around end of January.
09.03.2025 21:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Very heartening. Ironically, our best hope is in the "redneck"villas of america. Sidenote: my understanding is that the term redneck first came from coal mine protestors of Pueblo CO who wore red scarves around their necks
08.03.2025 20:14 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Where is this?
06.03.2025 23:37 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Did you get a reply from me? Yes, based in San Pedro. Not so connected with art folks in Pana but have friends with connections there. Do you spend time on the lake?
04.03.2025 23:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Hi Sorry for the late reply... didn't see your response until now. Mostly focused on San Pedro, San Juan. Know some people in Pana with connections with artists there. Do you have some recommendations?
19.02.2025 21:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0SOS... save our souls, save our society, save our sanity
05.02.2025 17:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And we will need to act very strategically to assure that we don't burn out at the start. This will be a marathon. We need to use our energy, time and resources carefully and with greatest effect. And make sure we don't become marionettes responding and controlled by every action they take.
05.02.2025 17:15 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thank you! Yes, we need to pause, collect ourselves, respond strategically, not knee jerk like his puppet, puppets of the media.
28.01.2025 18:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes. Dems and too many of us being dragged into the vortex of trump. Don't get trumped! Take a breath. Stop. Think strategically. First all hands on deck for next 2 election cycles, AND we need to change hearts and minds.
28.01.2025 18:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Great to see BlueSky continually improving
28.01.2025 14:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0YES!... this is where change will happen...local, grassroots. Also where red and blue can come together to discover that they share more in common than what divides them (orchestrated by certain politicians to divide in order to control and gain power)
28.01.2025 01:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There are alternatives...Libre Office is excellent
26.01.2025 21:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I believe the most radical thing we can do is adopt the MAGA hat. I believe the vast majority are " good people". We need to win their hearts and minds. We share much more than divides us. They win by dividing us. Yes, MAGA .. like it was before the orange guy.
26.01.2025 21:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Great title...and seems to be handling it very well
26.01.2025 00:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Mayan Corn God, by Atuun Panloow of San Pedro la Laguna, Guatemala. The Mayan people believe they were created from corn and call themselves " the people of the corn". Atuun is one of the many artists from around Lake AtitlΓ‘n that we work with. GuateMaya Art and Culture Connection. #artblsky #art
23.01.2025 17:16 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is my take: short term ( next election cycles, 2, 4 yrs) focus on Dem senate, house majority, Dem pres. Personally I think odds of change within the political system is close to nil, but we got to try. Next 30 days? Work together to come up with a coherent strategy.
22.01.2025 22:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Good move to Libre Office,
