yeah, i had similar experience when it overwrote the output i had with its changes, though i told it to put any updates in a new folder. Though I think parts of it could have been prevented with better prompting/tool use on my part, still figuring out all its capacities

I didn't realize that the Positron status bar on the bottom left which shows what git branch you're on, is also clickable menu that pops up command palette options that let you change or create git branches.
