and how much is bc I just suck at explaining, when after all our roleplay/practice teaching sessions there's been no negative feedback regarding the way I explain concepts.

To add to that: am I just a lazy teacher for thinking an 8 year old can just make art that's just a little shitty and just a little messy? I push my students to a certain extent but maybe not enough. Apparently their work downgrades with me but that makes me wonder how much is bc the teacher helps-

Trying to decide on a standard for my young art students is so incredibly frustrating when the portfolios coming out of our other company branches have such low standards... do we push our students more or can we choose to not stress over every detail (and end up doing part of their work for them)
