Had to re crimp some of the old cat 5e ethernet cables because they wouldn't stay securely in the Jacks.
Im going to have to buy some more ethernet plugs at this rate...

Main issue with this device so far has been how loud the CPU fan gets. And it spins up a lot, even though the temps aren't all that high.

Unfortunately the CPU blower appears to be proprietary, so no replacing it with a generic quieter fan.

But the 92mm fan is easy to replace.

The leads are luckily still in place. The Nas works & the RAID 1 array appears in tact for now.

I couldn't clean the inside as much as I'd like, as I didn't have a proper brush at the time. But I did have a rechargeable blower (really loud air brush instead of a can) that did decently well.

I don't know why it took me so long, but I took my Aoostar R7 apart, redid the thermal paste, and cleaned the dust.
Unfortunately, partially broke a SATA connector in the process. It still works for now, but I don't trust it.
Also looking I to getting a 120mm 3d printed fan adaptor.
