Yeah this is one of those movies that falls into the category of you may have to watch twice in order to properly articulate why it is actually not good, and then you are like “why did I watch that twice just so I could explain why I didn’t like it”

Paltrow is einfach Paltrow, bin da generell bei dir… und Chalamet mochte ich vorher schon nicht der hat‘s jetzt nicht besser gemacht. Ich schau alle Best Picture nominees und versuch da auch relativ offen reinzugehen, hatte keine Ahnung was mich hier erwartet… und hat dann recht schnell enttäuscht.

I‘m likely alone here but I hated it - it‘s 30 mins too long, unfocused, and while Coen Brothers-esque, devoid of their wit. Chalamet‘s performance also quickly gets old. Some points for cinematography, soundtrack, supporting cast. We should stop nominating A24 productions automatically. ⭐️⭐️
