Just finished my yearly playthrough of this game, first time ironman, but decided to actually add it to the list because IT'S BEEN 10 YEARS. HOW HAVE I BEEN PLAYING THIS GAME FOR 10 YEARS NOW. WHERE'S XCOM 3 PLEASE I NEED XCOM 3.

Return of the Obra Dinn. I've always heard that this is one of the best games ever made, that it's such a unique and great experience. Don't get me wrong, I did like the game, but it was very exhausting to play, Still a game i would recommend. Full review: backloggd.com/u/SpyroTodil...

Black Mesa (Half Life 1 remake) I enjoyed the experience, it was a fun game, but you can tell this is a pretty old game in a lot of what it does and has (not all in a negative way, the only real negative one i can think of is that i got lost very easily, might be a skill issue though)

Took me like 2 short separate hunts with 9 phases to get Chesnaught, getting Greninja like 5 minutes after it, and then 3 days of spending a few hours every afternoon benching for Fennekin (Delphox) with 22 phases until I actually got it. This was certainly something.

Pokémon Legends Z-A
I liked it a lot, more than Legends Arceus, although those 2 are such different takes on the Legends formula I don't think it's fair to compare to each other. Dex has been completed, and so is the Mega dex. Now I'm only missing the shiny charm, and waiting for the DLC

love preordering games so that the store, which is actively selling the games, doesn't have my preordered copy on launch day

Ain't no way I preordered Pokemon ZA, I go to the store before they open, and when they finally open they tell me my order hasn't arrived yet, while I can see people actively buying the game right there what are these shit logistics 😭

Hollow Knight Silksong. This is my GOTY. It's really really hard, but I did love every second of it. I don't think I'm good enough to even think about trying to beat the game in permadeath mode, maybe the speedruns. So, until DLC releases, I'm finished with it. Worth every year of waiting.

Donkey Kong Bananza. As someone who's knowledge and interactions with Donkey Kong as a franchise/IP are exclusive to Smash Bros. and Mario Spin Offs like Mario Kart/Party, I absolutely loved this game. It's Mario Odyssey levels of good, if you can and haven't played it yet, go play it.

Mario Kart World. There really isn't a way to "beat" it i guess, but since a week has passed since release and i've already obtained 3 stars gold on all Grand Prix and Knockout Tour, i might as well consider it as beaten. Really fun, it's Mario Kart, i dont know what else would you expect.

Well that arrived about a day and a half later than I expected, specially since My Nintendo Store specifically states that preordering more than 3 days before a physical product releases, guarantees you'll get it on release date (that was a lie)
