Each of us has an inner monk, seeking stillness and truth, and an outer armor, built to navigate life. They are not separate but two aspects of the same being—one to seek, the other to act. To honor both is to bridge worlds: to engage with the system while knowing you are not the system.

Feeling fully in control often means we’re caught up in habits or beliefs we haven’t questioned yet.

When you realize that you’re in the moment, it’s a memory.

You’re there the moment you stop wondering if you’re there.

Blessed to have had such a meaningful transition into the next trip around the sun. Spent time in nature, with community, healing, dancing, singing, believing.

The scam texters are being so nice lately.

Whatever a person frequently thinks and ponders upon will become the inclination of their mind.

Hindrances take many forms: a hat blows off mid-serve, the blank page stares back in defiance, the mind churns before a 🍄 journey. Creativity and stillness, struggle and ease; they are the same. Hindrances ask us: resist or allow? Not through struggle, but by being with both, not choosing sides.

I’m a story I tell people.

4/4 “the day after” asks us to embrace ourselves in ordinary moments. It invites us to sit with our unfinished selves and remember to honor the boldness of reaching for the stars and the courage it takes to return to earth.

So here’s to the day after-the beautiful, messy part of being human.

1/4 There’s something hauntingly profound about “the day after.” It’s a concept that transcends the literal—a wedding, a battle, a breakthrough. The day after the storm, the celebration, the reckoning, or even the healing. It’s the unsung space where reality creeps back in, asking, “What now?”

“There's something going around”—the perfect phrase for when you don't know if it's a cold or the weight of the universe deciding to lean on all of us at once.

Awareness shows us that everything comes and goes-moments, thoughts, things. When we see this, a quiet clarity can emerge. Life feels less like something to control and more like a rhythm we are already part of. By noticing we allow understanding to grow on its own; light slowly filling a dark room.
