Travelling the country... Northern Cape now western Cape

Hate being back at work, productivity and motivation getting lower each day. Hot flushes driving me mad. Between worry about baby sis cancer, hot flushes and some other worries I want to sit and cry most days. Constantly being told by uni management how bad we are is demotivating me to even care.

So I've been back to the office for the first time in 4 years. It's a struggle. Hate the noise. Hate sitting in a dull office in Teams meetings. At least my home office has a beautiful garden to look at. I go home completely drained.

Universities will burn through the goodwill of their employees amazingly fast and then wonder why people won't go an extra mile...

Yikes just saw that my alma mater university is now using facial recognition for registration of new students. And such PR bullshit around it.
