going from that, then into a job i look forward to everyday has been a profound emotional journey and came with lessons i'll never forget. i'm beside myself with how well its going here and i'm holding back tears of joy at my desk today.

my job before this was easily the worst i've had, with a boss who never believed me (but claimed to "believe in me") and left me with enough anxiety to be stomach sick every morning before work. I was flat out every second of the week but nothing was ever enough for them. I have mild ptsd from this.

today i finished my first year at my current role. i'm more
emotional about this than i expected (in a good way). i do fine prints at an art shop for local artists. my boss and coworkers are lovely and they've gone out of their way to make it fit my desired work/life balance.
