I hope so too!
We had to rescue one in the last sunny spell. It turned windy and the poor thing was exhausted. Put it in a sheltered spot and a bit of sugar water - it flew off after a rest 🐝
Thanks pals 🙂

Quote “This weekend DOVO Sedee in Meerdaal was called to a plane bomb that was found in the Kattenbos in Lommel. It was an American 500-pound bomb, which probably came from a crashed B-17 bomber.Because the bomb had not been dropped, the detonators were still intact & partially armed.”

Hugs to Daf - sounds like she needs one.
Its lovely to see all this stuff happening in your garden.
If you’re a Manchester professional /business person, interested in the city’s history and informal networking, join me for a lunchtime netwalk. On 21 April theme is Mancunian Celebrations - who and what brought crowds onto Manchester streets in centuries past www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/manchester...
It really was very interesting. Although flat, there was alot of walking so it wouldn't have been good for you. Hope the injection has helped?
Wow!! That’s lovely to see
Well done you - so lovely of you ❤️

That was so nicely done. I shall really miss it
Well I am an emotional wreck. I wasn’t prepared for the effect of the last Call The Midwife. Movingly done indeed .
Margaret Downes (sabred), Mary Heys (trampled by cavalry), Sarah Jones (truncheoned), Martha Partington (fell into cellar) died at Peterloo Massacre in Manchester 1819, protesting for voting reform. Women were disproportionately hurt and possibly deliberately targeted. #IWD
Out for drinks in Manchester last night & I had to pause at the #ww1 memorial in the now Britannia Hotel, back then it was a warehouse of S & J Watts. The 'Sentry',by Charles Jagger, stands opposite the memorial to those who fell during the war. Suspect many are 18th Manchester's Warehousemen & Clerks
Funnily my Grandad worked there as a teenager. His brother was my Uncle Edgar who died with the Welsh Regiment at Moulins de Pierre in October 1918.
You too - and it was absolutely fascinating. Thank you!
Off to Manchester for this guided walk. Looking forward to it!
Wonderful
