Well, thanks so much for asking! I've been writing quite a bit...honestly 8 or 9 in the last four days...usually about ten per week...BUT if I didn't have anything to write I think I would probably start journaling immediately...this late flood started years ago after years of hard work...blessed!
Just grateful that the poems keep on coming...it's such fun to wrote them down...even the sad ones!
My submission process is simple, and maybe a bit irrational. First, I look for journals with cool names. And then I look for ones that don't require too much effort, like pagination or your name on every page (which I don't really know how to do). It's easy! And then I send out the poems...#poetry
I shall remember that...
It's surprising every time I hear it...
I don't know...it sounds interesting enough but then the Emperor piece? I can't imagine you hear that one every day...
Always glad to see new work from this old school chum!
yes, I think so! Thank you!
Well, I did learn one thing. Always put the weaker rhyme first. That way it won't look like you're just using that word because it rhymes. Will let you know if I learn anything else! #poetry
One of the wonderful things about having a wretched memory--for a poet--is that you find yourself repeating yourself, but using different language. So after a while the poems work like a long piece of music. At least, that's what I'm saying today! #poetry
"If you pitched me a comic ... with a witchy girlboss villain, ... and a teenage siren navigating high school drama alongside genuine cosmic stakes–I would say: yes, immediately, where do I sign?"

Thanks always to @rodmannix.bsky.social! There's something oddly poetic to this platform...it's a little like a dream, I think.
Thanks to @timothybachstuff.bsky.social and @fakeourway.bsky.social for the lovely reposts! Glad to know you all on here!
I might be a lot of things but elite ain't one of them. But a friend is taking me to dinner tonight so I won't complain. :)
There's a bunch of sonnets in my new collection that deal with the first time I lost touch with reality. After all these years I've learned how to write about it, I guess. This is the first in the batch and I hope it's pleasing! #poetry
Writing and writing, poems and poems. I might not know exactly what I'm doing but I sure as hell keep doing it. #poetry
He's back! Check it out!
That's starting to be the consensus...thanks for clarifying!
That does make lots of sense...thanks!
Does poetry come from inside you or outside? Or both? As I keep learning into my middle age I find sometimes I get a little confused...
I say go for it! I wanna soon publish a 400-page book of poems! Let's be fecund!
Thanks always to @rodmannix.bsky.social and my lovely new friends on here! All I really wanna do is read and write poems and drink coffee. Is that too much to ask?
Oh, friends! Here's a poem from Dopamine and the Devil. I hope you like it! #poetry
Thanks, James! That really means a lot to me.
I have a new poetry book out that deals with demons...and they're somewhat literal!
I've mostly written poems. For a brief period in my twenties, I wrote some songs. I tried my best to make them pleasing!

Oh friends! This is the very first song I ever wrote. Thirty-two years ago. Hard to believe! Hope you like it...

I heard that Michael Haydn had a big influence on Mozart...I can hear it...but when I switched from Michael's string quartets to Mozart's I found Mozart pushing the boundaries...fun stuff!
Ah, thanks so much! I hope you like it...
Also I love baroque music...AND was just listening to Michael Haydn...I didn't even know he existed until recently...take care!
