Grew up in an actual professional photo studio / store, with cameras, film, hand developing and painting. The pleasure of cell phone cameras with editing software still blows my mind. This photo is of my Pomeranian Frank, and Mackerel Tabby kitten /youth, Tiggs. It has been three months of adjustments. Although Frank does not appreciate the tail attacks from Tiggs, he is beginning to tolerate him.

Small red plastic bin, big enough to pop wet boots into in order to keep, rugs, floors and socks dry. Each family member may have their own box. Spares can be stacked by the entrance for guests. Because, who likes wet socks?

Kitchen upheaval while making kimchi.

Kimchi brine paste. I used miso instead of fish sauce.

The two finished jars. With spice shelves in the background. I had to cut plastic container lids to fit inside the jars to keep the kimchi under the brine while it ferments. The pieces were cut to jam into the jar so do not need to be weighted down.

I made kim chi today. Veered away from the traditional recipe; used reg. cabbage, yam, apple, gr.onion. Added, miso, dandelion root, anise and curry leaf to the brine. Trying it a bit hotter with two TB of gochugaru; which is precious and not found where i am, so I'm being conservative with it.

The #MinoanSnakeGoddess has dried.
Tomorrow I can work on her again.
Tonight her Owl stone is getting a good cleaning, I believe it is agate, but am unsure yet.
