our dependency on cars is a huge impediment to a more livable community. the opposition to a bike lane on parker was mind-boggling. cycling to the train station, including locking it up, takes me 8 minutes. yesterday, i had a lovely 20-minute walk to and from.

I live here. What used to take 5 minutes to get to one side of town can now take up to 20. Various reasons: more people means more traffic, but also the roads on major arteries are full of potholes so everyone moves slower.

You’ll also notice the town approved everything, though. Unanimously.
