... stopped for the girl next to me. I said (a bit too loud): "I see he stops for pretty girls, but not for me". He laughed and gave me my autograph. Great guy.
... and any hopes of getting that autograph started to fade.
At the last moment, he returned, signed my card, and hurried back to the starting line. I like to believe he came back for me.
Another time I wanted an autograph from Laurens De Plus. He kinda ignored me, but...
I used to collect autographs, and got some fun interaction at the races.
My favourite one has to be when I waited for Pog to pass by. He saw me a little too late and yelled he would return (he had to go to the starting podium first). The time of the start was coming closer...
