Lilac to red ocean wave patterns

Every so many years I do an ode to gothic horror seaside wave painting and had the urge again today.

I watched way too much Dark Shadows TV series growing up lol

My homie Wooper has helped me in the past when I've been struggling with my art. Maybe he might help me out once again... 🙏

I will come back to this one in the future when I truly figure out the style.

I am struggling with this one. After coloring I found out I wasn't happy with the anatomy, so I redid his body. And after repainting I'm not happy with how it looks. I've been working on this for many, many hours now overall, so I think I might need to move on to a new piece and try something new.
