We picked up an Aphonopelma chalcodes that we felt sorry for back in May. She was a little chunky back then, and absolutely did not know how to act like a normal spider. She had no real burrowing behaviors. This week she started burrowing. Today she took her first meal from us. Good job, Tarangela!
