Coastal structures, Shoreham Port

Thursday July 17th, 9:30am, Shoreham Port, coastal furniture. Often each of these structures has a cormorant sitting atop drying its wings - but not today, not today.

Unlikely, I'd have thought. They are primarily scavengers, so prefer roadkill and other carrion. Live prey-wise, a large part of their diet is earthworms or small mammals. I'm sorry that your hare population is down, but there might be a different cause :(
