Edinburgh can best be explained in 2 mins last night - being so annoyed by Scarlets try, we shoved them off pitch at restart. And to kill that momentum we'd just created dead we then make a mess of the lineout.

Scarlets have won once away I believe this season, and that was just along road. As @huwgriffinrugby.bsky.social will confirm, that was not a strong team out. Yet we struggled throughout. Individually and collectively not good enough to be serious team. But it's fine, new Assistants will sort it....

Honestly, I don't know what our gameplan is. We pass it around for a bit, then get bored and kick it, often to surprise of our own team. We tried one move the whole game. Or rather we tried several moves at the same time, no one was where they should be and we decided we should not bother again.

Edinburgh’s decision to kick the ball dead at full time, when they have a pen about 10m from Scarletts line and any points would deny Scarletts a LBP, tells you all you need to know about this teams’ mentality at the moment.

So both easily practiced with a ball, a hooker, a jumper and support or two and a corner of the training pitch....
Yet we show no sign of improvement here. I just don't get it.

We had 14 point turnaround off that bounce that eventually fell into Harry's hands and for a fleeting moment we looked like a team.
We then had a chargedown that could have been missed or bounced anywhere. Different outcomes there could have easily happened, fortune fell our way.
Lucky this time

Individually and collectively they are just not improving, despite some glaring and repeating issues. These show no sign of being worked on between games.
And if I was a back up 9 or 10 I'd want to understand how I'm not getting more of a go.

There is no excuse for it. Can't blame return of Rae and Maggie for upheaval, squad was stable. Lineout shambles again. Kicking to touch poor. Moves in backline absent. They look potent on unstructured counter attack, that's it. What do they do in training?

Watching Edinburgh of late is bad for my health. Feels like every game I go in with lower expectations than one before, and yet they still fail to meet them.
I have mates I tend to only see at Hive, why oh why does it feel like team is group of individuals that see no more of each other than we do?

Very fair. That backline was our likely lineup since last match. Any chat of disruption from players (checks notes prop and 8) being returned from Scotland is a lie.
That was appalling, ultimately won by Harry P luckily being in right place on two occasions. Bounce of ball in particular, fluke.

I've met strangers in the pub pre-match that I've managed to form more of a connection with than our backline has managed in months/years of playing together.. Awful

It's just before Acheninver Youth Hostel car park, where I parked. For Fiddler I've parked way further along road, past Culnacraig iirc.

For Cul Beag I've always parked at Stac Pollaidh and went along road, but I recall there's a spot nearer that isn't just a passing place.
