My neighborhood is predominantly immigrant, the first floor of my building is a Mexican mercado, and I am near where many of ICE "actions" have taken place. His actions were designed to instill fear in me and, honestly, it worked.

As I was walking home from work on that cold night, hooded and bundled up, I was pinned up against a snowbank in the parking lot OF MY OWN HOME by a black SUV and stared down and intimidated by what I am sure was an ICE agent.

I have been hesitant to post, or say much about something that happened 2me the night of December, 30th in the parking lot of my building, but after what happened in Minneapolis today, I want 2 speak up.
