Sickle Cell Anemia Disease is a condition in which blood cells are produced with a sickle shape that is sticky and brittle. It has been known to cause major organ damage and joint pain crisis over the life of the carrier. The disease also causes low hemoglobin counts in its carriers.

Not that I have had much of a life, but I have put a lot of things on hold due to my sibling being a liver transplant survivor going on 2 years now if she makes it to December. Right now she is in need of a kidney transplant after being hospitalized with pneumonia for a second time this year.

I think Lightsky is a failed app of the @atproto.com development answer to Tic Tok like shorts vids. It also censors adult modded videos from being accessible on it.

I think it would be excellent to get a full screen iPad option of BlueSky. I do however like how iPad glass allows me to have multiple spaces open.

I also think some if not most of us have been spoiled by the edit post feature of threads where it gives you a number of seconds to edit before making post permanent. I had to remove and repost a long post I made on BS because it was getting 💙 for miss spellings.

I like that BlueSky defaults to the feed you choose to see if selected. If I only choose to see who I follow as first priority, it opens that way every time.

Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are going to be thin this year. No candy for Halloween. No family gathering for Thanksgiving. No presents for Christmas. Money is tight. It’s not alright.

I suppose her by paying all of the house bills and doing the majority of the house work.

She still works a full time job also. We talked about her retiring and going on government assistance but she’s afraid the political climate will make it tough tougher to qualify.

It’s sad to think about it.

I support a family member that when through a major organ transplant.

It will be 2 years come this December since the surgery.

In that time our wealth has decreased by a lot despite working full time jobs.

Times have been tough.

Looks like the holidays are going to be thin this year.

No friends or family to call upon in times of need. I’m very worried about the future.

My credit has fallen to its lowest level ever because I hold much of the debt outside of her medical expenses. All this on an instructor’s salary.

I don’t know how it’s all staying together, but it feels like one more event could collapse the whole thing.

I feel like I support her. I do much of the house work, take care of all the house bills, she helps where she can by taking the car payments.

Things are breaking in the house like doors and air conditioning units, causing more credit bills to stack up on us.

We talked about her quoting he job and going on disability. She eligible for it. But she worries if she will get it now that the political environment has turned hostile towards minorities and sick people.
