My wrist post-op is still really stiff and painful- hard to draw, harder to type. But, I'm getting better!! Please be patient with me as I catch up to my own ideas!

Thanks! I kinda prefer the study for the clarity, but the painting looked really good in person!! The florescent lighting yellow was a little hard to balance in the photo but this is pretty close. I could have cheated the "true whites" to pinkish tbh.. I learn a lot comparing progress shots

I‘m at least 5-10 years behind myself as far as processing life events thru comics goes. I don’t envy the daily diary comic author. I need the time to wrap it all in some personal fictional fable. feels like the only way I can rly get over something, another reason I’m scared to be slowing down

for what you said above like connections amounting to very little, I think that’s normal too. There are many people who I really enjoy seeing at con, but we may not keep in touch for the rest of the year. These things take effort and sometimes it’s OK that it just is a fleeting moment.

Don’t be distressed I don’t think it’s unkindness, but I don’t know what it is! Luckily some conventions have lottery applications, and I’ve been lucky to get a half table in the artist alley from the lottery. But in my 10+ years of furry I’ve never been accepted into the dealers or anything juried.

Aw, I think it’s pretty fun to be a loner in furry. But I also wish my art was more appreciated in the fandom so I feel you. It’s really hard for me to even get a table, I always wonder what I’m doing wrong on the applications or if they just want something different 🤷

Still I’m relatively unknown lol. I forget to tell people I’ll be there (because it’s a mile away from my house) and spent a lot of time solo this year. But I enjoy my time wandering con alone, it reminds me of the times I had no friends in furry yet, and I was just so amazed taking everything in~

My first time attending FC was 2011, and this year I think it was my 10th time attending! :3
