I haven’t tied a tie in like 70 years, my god

I like jury so much more than fcfs but also it feels so much more personal LOL

now to wait until february or whatever to find out if I got rejected by another jury

it took literally 12 minutes bc the site was crashing so bad so I was like “oh there’s no way” but then it submitted

holy shit I actually got an app in to fanime before the 1000 applicant cutoff

I normally go to bed between 1 and 3 am but I’m apparently so tired from Doing Nothing But Sitting In The Passenger Seat For Seven Hours that I’m just resigned to falling asleep at 11 and waking up at 4

I’m so neurotic about making sure I never do this I think I would simply evaporate into the ether even if it was something completely inconsequential

between 9 and 11, which is a tighter timeframe than I expected!!

honestly I’ll just feel better once a professional is looking at it lol bc our maintenance guy (who is very nice) was like “okay this is beyond my expertise”

I’m so stressed, between like 1 pm yesterday and now the leak has progressed from “concerning but manageable drips” to “actual stream of water”

a plumber is coming today but we’ve had to get up a couple times in the middle of the night to empty the 5 gallon bucket currently catching the water

we're driving to socal in two days for a wedding and I hurt my back and a pipe in our bathroom ceiling is leaking and I had to deal with that today except for one phone call that ello managed to do and I am just so overwhelmed all the time

I mean at least it wasn't like "your ceiling is collapsing because it's waterlogged" but this still sucks lol

I just cleaned the bathroom counters yesterday btw

I was trying to get things done this afternoon and then I had to deal with gross yellow water coming out of the bathroom vent and splashing all over the counters and floor and the dog was barking at the maintenance guy and a plumber probably can't come out until tomorrow morning

we have a leak in a pipe in our bathroom ceiling

I'm like, afraid to feel genuinely hopeful, lol

since I was at the mall yesterday having a horrible time trying to find pants that fit, I was like oh I'll stop into the new pop mart and look at some cute toys

got there, decided I'm about 100 years too old to go in, left to go try on more pants

hopefully that resolves itself before we drive down to socal lol
