Man, Keir has really shit the bed, hasn't he?
youtu.be/7iZDibKGWHc?...
In fact there are already people I've stopped talking to for that reason.
It feels silly to put in effort when the other person doesn't.
Hmn, I feel similarly.

23.10.2025 17:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In case it wasn't clear what I meant there, high margins means more than enough money to pay the people that actually make the game without raising the price of the game by even one cent.
23.10.2025 17:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's also worth noting that games, because they're digitally distributed, have the potential to have incredible margins when widely sold. The cost of production stays static once the game has been made, but the cost of extra sales is absolutely minuscule. So the margin keeps growing.
23.10.2025 16:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Btw...
Price go up does not necessarily mean wages go up.
Wages go up does not always have to mean prices go up.
Just to be clear.
People need to stop acting like prices and wages are directly connected.
The day average executives stop making 380 times the amount of money as their workers and ALL workers get a living wage that keeps up with inflation we can start talking about 100 dollar games (maybe).
Most folks can't justify $100 games. Especially if they're chock full of microtransactions and paid DLC.
Especially when these companies are still making huge profits, most of that money going to *executives.*
Especially when these games are often undercooked and their staff overworked.
I never had any game to begin with, so it's alright.

Which, I'm gonna be real, pretty clear which one makes more sense.
I mean, if a guy is getting a burger while you're having to eat a salad the...
So much of right-wing thinking is really about convincing people so much that someone else is getting something that they aren't getting that they are actively willing to vote against their own interests to make sure they don't get it anymore.
Whereas a lot of left-wing thinking is obviously...
I'm gonna be real, never understood the appeal of either of them.
Not judging anyone for liking either, btw. I just don't really get it. None of them spoke to me and it kind of puzzles me how either got so popular.
Not gonna lie, it's 2025 and I have literally only seen two Marvel movies/series.
The first "Iron Man" movie and the first "Avengers" movie. And no series.
And I've only seen two "Star Wars" films as well. And no series.
Oh and, of course, they don't want to be lectured by a young girl, even if she indeed is braver, smarter and simply correct about something. Because not feeling humiliated is more important to them than believing the truth.
Facts, unfortunately, do not care about their feelings.
neurotic little girl then you can feel good about yourself. Because then you are not sitting by and letting the world get plunged into disaster while a young girl shows more bravery than you.
It's that, I think, that bothers a lot of those people the most. Insecurity.
