Okay that’s it. TLDR, I loved Midnight Suns, ending was a bit disappointing, but I’m more disappointed by the fact there won’t be more. Okay good night

I wish I could say I look forward to the next entry but that day sadly won’t come. But if for whatever reason that is a Midnight Suns 2 or another Marvel game made by Firaxis Games, you bet your sweet bippy I’m getting it

The game has New Game+ but I have so little desire to do it. The only benefit is going for a completionist route with friendship levels and suits. And idk if I have that desire in me. Though I did start a female playthrough. No difference probably but it’s at least different

Speaking of which, I’m angry about that. The game was popular with critics but is called a commercial failure, due to lack of interest to its deck based combat. I loved that uniqueness but I was hesitant to even try it before it was on sale. I love strategizing but not everyone does

Now let’s talk a bit critically. After 70 in game days, the ending was…well, let’s just say I didn’t have tears of joy. Which is fine, not all games need a super happy everyone jumps for joy type of ending. But it feels like they were setting up a sequel which will likely never come

The game also includes relationship building, so you can become close friends with almost everyone, from Spider-Man to Blade. You’re also rewarded for this with cosmetics, super moves, and combat bonuses

Visually it’s very pretty. My game buffered a bit but never really crashed, but that’s not the game’s fault. The super moves can be very cool to watch

The character cast is great, even excluding the four DLC characters. You’ll have mainstream heroes, like Iron Man and Dr. Strange, along with lesser known heroes like Magik and Robbie Reyes. Not unknown, but they’re not in the MCU yet. Hunter is a nice insert for the player
