We held a stall with the Leeds Food Not Bombs group for #GDAMS2025 to raise awareness about the lunacy that our government increased military spending by £2.2 billion in April.

Meanwhile, the government is also making devastating cuts to vital!

💣 War is Expensive. Peace is Underfunded.

🚨 In 2024, global military spending reached $2.7 trillion—a 9.4% increase from last year and nearly 20% higher than three years ago (SIPRI).

Israeli military spending increased by 65% in 2024 according to @sipri.org and had the largest year-on-year % increase in the world, all amid its ongoing genocide & occupation of Palestine.
👉🏼 USA and Germany were the main countries exporting arms to Israel between 2020-2024.
