Province retools OSAP, whittling grants down to new all-time low
The Government of Ontario is revamping the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) and fundamentally changing the game for post-secondary students province-wide.
ICYMI: While the gov't announced new funding for universities and colleges, it is also downloading more costs onto students by cutting OSAP grants.
Postsecondary education is the future of this province and it must be accessible and affordable. #OnPSE #OSSTF

Ontario government shows up late and brings little to post-secondary education crisis - CCPA
Ontario is spending less on education than in 2018, despite "historical" new funding from the provincial government.
Despite claims of βhistoricβ investment, Ontario is spending less on post-secondary education as a share of GDP than in 2018. Even with new funding, the province remains thousands of dollars per student behind the national average.
