My neighbor in Orlando mentioned this EXACT concern to me last night!

THIS ORDER supersedes any previous order, proclamation, or directives to the extent they are in conflict. This Public Order shall take effect immediately and remain in effect until such time as it automatically expires one year from the date of issuance, or until such time as the New Mexico Department of Health Cabinet Secretary rescinds it.
New Mexico has issued a public health order that removes federal restrictions to COVID-19 vaccine access so that pharmacies in New Mexico can vaccinate people of all ages and risk profiles. Every state need to do this!

Good morning.
Yesterday, after hours of hiding, trying not to make a sound, we stepped outside and saw massive bullet holes in our office windows.
Those weren’t random shots. That was a high-powered weapon no civilian should ever own.
Seems like the right time to share this wonderful moment again, now with subtitles and some context at the beginning about what they were talking about before Jeff Goldblum shared a George Bernard Shaw quote with Stephen Colbert.

To my fellow State Department friends, I see you and will continue to fight for you. You deserve better.
Everything we do between now and the next election could make the difference in flipping the House and Senate to stop their next awful bill. So let’s get to work starting TODAY.
I’m going to do everything I can in the next year and a half to win. I hope you’ll join me.
Republicans in Congress don’t care about families that won’t be able to afford a doctor’s visit or rural hospitals that will close. But they will care when they lose elections. They can hide and skip town halls, but next November, they’ll have to answer to their constituents.
11.07.2025 23:43 — 👍 317 🔁 33 💬 5 📌 1Last week, Trump and Republicans in Congress got their way. They passed their big bill that rips away health care from millions of Americans and adds trillions to the debt—all to pay for tax cuts for rich people.
They’re going to regret it, and I’m planning to make sure they do.
Today I stood in solidarity with the over 1300 State Dept public servants who were fired by Trump and Rubio. These are American patriots who’ve dedicated their lives to advancing US interests & values.
This is America in Retreat. Our adversaries are smiling. A bad day for America.
Do not blame us for his ignorance and stupidity Liberia for we voted for the sane and qualified black lady. 🤷

We’re going to keep the pressure on. Please help us spread the word.
I mean this is just unbelievable — they don't even know what's in THEIR OWN DAMN BILL.
This provision guts renewable energy and they have no clue know where it came from?? This entire process is rotten to its core.
I just forced Republicans to take what should be a simple vote:
Save health care for millions of Americans
OR
Give tax breaks to people making over $10 million a year
Can you guess which one they chose? We won't let them forget it.

Right now in Maryland, there's a mom whose son relies on lifesaving chemotherapy treatments. She told me that if he loses access to his health insurance, it would be a "death sentence."
If this bill passes, people will die.
Keep calling. Keep fighting. We must stop this bill.
I miss the days when we had a compassionate President. This was yesterday at the funeral of Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her Husband. (and their dog too 😢)
Meanwhile, the current "president" spent his day golfing and making sure no disabled people are seen at his events.
I try to find a little joy every day, and yesterday it was the multitude of lightning bugs blinking over the fields. It’s been years since I’ve seen so many and it reminds me that there’s always a chance to fix our mistakes for the next generation.

Every Republican voting for this bill knows better. They know these cuts to Medicaid and food assistance will hurt their constituents. They know and they don’t care.
