The State Department is putting “all direct hire personnel” at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on administrative leave, except staff responsible for mission-critical functions.
NEW: Federal workers are now being automatically stripped of the ability to share personal pronouns through settings in Gmail/Outlook etc., sources at multiple agencies say.
Pronoun sharing is also being banned across Slack in line with a White House mandate.
