Exactly. Some of these are bots just trying to suppress voter turnout in the midterms. Some are just really depressed and slowly turning into conspiracy theoriests. Nothing was stolen. Trump just tricked desperate people into thinking he'd fix the economy day 1. That's how he won.

Also it does matter. I mean I'd be happy with new deal, but I'd still much prefer centrist democrats in power over actual nazis.

Yeah more big exclusives will come. But for now just playing switch 2 editions and enhanced Switch 1 games is plenty. I can now play lots of better versions of Switch 1 games and improved portable friendly 3rd party games. I was super happy to play Civ 7 and Fantasy Life at launch.

I think both groups can be correct. There aren't many exclusives yet, but it arguably doesn't need them yet either. Like the PS5, which also lacks exclusives, just playing lots of games and playing better versions of previously released and future games is enough for now. More exclusives will come.

I don't think the average consumer is comparing prices of Pokémon vs Digimon. That just seems weird. Also pretty sure there aren't any $80 pokemon games, at least so far.

I think it's because there isn't much obvious visual evidence for most people. I mean I believe it but not everyday Americans who don't pay attention or actively avoid this stuff.

Probably. I think they are mostly people who actually like him, are super brainwashed or that think having a Democrat president is worse than anything Trump could do. I recently saw that he still has around 25% strong approval. This is the lowest it's ever been, but obviously still high.

Agreed that I don't want him to be the nominee, but unfortunately in the general you have to go with the lesser of two evils. I have no doubt that he would be better for the country than JD Vance.

His numbers have steadily fallen since this term began. I think his floor is probably around 30% though. Not sure if he will ever lose them.

It's a bit better than the PS5 or Series S/X launched with. People are mostly getting it to play better versions of Switch 1 games now, which is the same basic reason we all bought the PS5 and Series X. Later this year most if not all Nintendo's games will be Switch 2 as well.

I think it depends. If it needs DLC to be "really good" but it's good without the DLC then that's not a failed game. Good isn't the same thing as failed. But if the game is bad without the DLC then your point stands.

People should try to keep some expectations in check. Special elections have low turnout so mostly only people who really care voted and those who care are mostly the people who are angry. This is still a big deal though and further proof of a nice big blue wave.

Agreed. This is the best chance to turn this country around. If democrats win by a lot it will send a huge message and also make it a lot harder for Trump to do anything.

The midterm elections will happen. I do expect the standard and maybe increased voter suppression and intimidation that Republicans always do though. We just need to beat that. I also think he's probably planning on saying the democrats won by cheating afterwards.

It could be and I hope so. It's not very clear. But there is plenty of evidence a decent chunk of those original voters have already turned against him.

What does "leave behind" mean exactly? As liberals we should show compassion for all people. Even ones with poor judgement. Many of those people are not hardcore Maga and have already turned on him. We should be uniting everyone against him. Political retribution is Trump's job.

Hesitation is fair, but they are the most reliable guage of public opinion we have at the moment, other than voting. Although voting isn't very good at saying whether someone is despised or not I guess.
