i think it's good actually that a videogame prominently featuring AI voice acting is finding success while my VA friends haven't found steady work in years and have their rates forcibly ground into dust over the few reliable gigs left

Dzięki publikowaniu mogę mieć wrażenie, że jakoś istnieję. Jeśli komuś umilę moment czy zainspiruję, to było warto. Może się nie wydawać, ale wciąż się trochę wstydzę postować arty czy przesuwać granicę tematyki, ale dużo mniej niż na początku i fajnie jest przeżywać swój rozwój i różne wzloty.

Mam trochę tak, jak opisujesz, że nie chcę się nikomu narzucać i walczyć o uwagę. Nie umiem się reklamować. Ale z czasem człowiek mniej się porównuje, uczy się po prostu zająć robieniem swojego i skupienia na tym satysfakcji. A jak znajdzie się nawet paru odbiorców to super sprawa do docenienia.

Ktoś określił, że aby tworzyć w internecie trzeba być jak karaluch. Upadające platformy, Muski, algorytmy, procesory płatności będą ciągle próbować zmieść Cię z planszy i trzeba za każdym razem powstawać na nowo. Generalnie trzeba robić coś, bo się ma ochotę. Zewnętrzna motywacja to słaby grunt.

Jak nie głównie dla obserwowania i cieszenia się cudzą kreatywnością, to nie wiem po co w przebywać na social media :) Nic, tylko dokładać. A to ile czasu ktoś na to poświęca, na co kto trafia i czy ktoś lubi, co widzi na swoim feedzie, to już nie Twój problem (co też sobie muszę wbijać do głowy).

Nie jest nieetyczne istnienie i wyrażanie tego publicznie. Samorealizacja to jedna z podst. potrzeb i dzielenie się tym to jedna z najlepszych cech internetu. Nieetyczne to jest jak zawalono wszelakie platformy AI-slopem i botami. Dla ludzi zawsze jest miejsce i trzeba zwalczać martwy internet.

An expanded version of the game has a store page on Steam (under the title Grobnopolis) and I'm curious about it. I hope it'll develop the concept and story as they have potential for a more fleshed out project.

It has a very small scope but it's a neat snack nevertheless. Exploring and finding all details was enjoyable. Wall panels, furniture and classic items from the period - design of the apartment is well executed, familiar but put in an uncanny setting. Style and story remind me Mouthwashing a bit.

Played Funeralopolis last evening, a free indie game about one of the greatest horrors - living in Poland. But for real, it's a nice short story with heavy atmosphere of lockdown, paranoid and looming disaster, in somber aesthetics of a stuffy apartment in 80s Poland. banana-jeff.itch.io/dniostatnie
