We need to be talking to Trump voters who thought he was going to upend the status quo, and show them how he is just protecting the powerful, corrupt, and lawless.

“He lied to you,” we need to tell them. “And so it’s ok for you to walk away.”

Texas Democrats aren’t running away from anything. They’re fighting, with every tool they have, to save our democracy.

Kudos to each and every one of them for taking this stand. We should be inspired by their courage and reminded that tyranny is only possible if we submit to it.
