08.08.2025 17:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The Artemis II Orion Spacecraft shortly after being readied for its move to the LASF. NASA engineers and technicians pose in front of their spacecraft. This Orion will be the first NASA spacecraft to carry crew into space since Atlantis flew for the final time in 2011.
Orion is officially ready to fly. After spending the past two months in the MPPF for propellant loading and interior installs, the spacecraft is now ready to receive its launch abort system and then be stacked atop the SLS rocket at Kennedy Space Center.

07.08.2025 17:09 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0At the centre of the image is a comet that appears as a teardrop-shaped bluish cocoon of dust coming off the cometโs solid, icy nucleus and seen against a black background. The comet appears to be heading to the bottom left corner of the image. About a dozen short, light blue diagonal streaks are seen scattered across the image, which are from background stars that appeared to move during the exposure because the telescope was tracking the moving comet.
