PF_VIRT_FIRMWARE_ENABLED is always true, while PF_SECOND_LEVEL_ADDRESS_TRANSLATION is always false. Moreover, even though SLAT shows as false, WSL2 can still run normally in the Windows virtual machine, which leaves me completely puzzled about how VMware achieves all of this.

Today I discovered that in the VMware environment, it is impossible to confirm whether the Windows virtual machine supports virtualization. Whether or not “Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT or AMD-V/RVI” is checked, there is no obvious difference in the Windows virtual machine.
