TY, but I do have off-green ones (Aquasol and Aquamarine, maybe Teal) and it's just gotta be a solid Christmas green.

I think I'm going to have to go with Ruby, and switch up the body embroidery to green-and-white. I usually avoid red-eyed dragons, but Ruby really is a pretty color.

Thank you! Mint's the closest I've been able to find too but based on screen colors it hasn't quite been *it*. I am guessing there's some technical/cost reason they haven't made a deep neutral-to-slightly-bluish green backlit because c'mon, there's ruby and sapphire, emerald seems logical.

beaders happen to know the names of a true green, backlit Gemduo color? And either a source for them or, if any of you are willing to spare some, a listing for a few pairs?

(Though really, given the number of Pernese dragons I make I should get a whole tube.)

A little golden-yellow plush dragon (about 4" tall) with the machine-embroidered wings of a Madagascar sunset moth.

The plush version ends up something like this (except with icing on the body, obviously).

The gingerbread unicorn and dragon from a couple years ago. They're semi-three dimensional critters made as though from gingerbread cookies, except it's embroidered faux leather (in this case; other versions were felt).

Today I thought, what if I put the gingerbread cookie dragon's wings on a plush? I'm gonna find out.

Turns out I did an extra sheet of letters, whoops (added an extraneous -ing onto the first word).

This is the nice thing about individual-letter buntings: one typo doesn't screw everything up. 😅

There are kind of the less-interesting version of the Dragon Bunting Design... I'm going to make the fancier ones for the starting letters of the words, but instead of the eponymous Dragons at the end there will be the kawaii monsters from the Adventurer's Pack.

Machine embroidered bunting letters that current read "TELL COPE." Yeah, it's the best I could come up with.

Anybody else feel compelled to rearrange the letters when making a bunting to see what goofy things you can spell? Just me?

Yeah, they're definitely not my sole grocery store (though neither is Aldi).

They're such a weird hybrid: the aesthetics are warehouse store, but the number of products is way higher. So they're like a regular grocery store but with larger packages of everything. 🤷

I took them up on one of their $25 memberships. You have to let it lapse for about three months and then you get the "come back for $25" offer. So it's kind of a part-time membership, kinda annoying. Costco, build that closer store!

I'm so mad because the other close grocery is BJ's, a quasi-warehouse, and their smallest carton is 18 eggs. Aldi was so convenient! Can't believe my beloved German grocer would betray me like that.

One of the plush ball pythons, curled up around itself with its head peeking out. This one is a tiny plush charm, and the split ring is hooked over the climbing branch.

The in-the-hoop snek is optimized for square hoops and also to loop nicely around itself, because ball pythons are named for their defensive behavior which is... just what it sounds like.

(They usually wrap around a branch instead of hanging from it, of course. 😉)

Three different sizes of plush snakes. The picture is blurry because I am an idiot.

Three unfinished "Halloween cookie" snap tab fobs, plus a tiny "feltie" version of the snake. The picture is sideways because, again, I am an idiot.

I just have to wrap up some final details (putting in snaps, etc.) and then actually take decent photography (always a challenge for me 😆) and then these designs will drop tomorrow.

A plush snake with literal pumpkin markings. It's unstaffed so is a little misshapen, mostly its head. It's on my stickered-up laptop with a faux leather charm version.

I have made entirely too many trips to the basement, the pumpkin pied ball python shall remain derpily flat until tomorrow.

Also, based on other family recipes: when it's called "chili sauce" it means something like Heinz chili sauce: sort of a glorified ketchup. Sis and I have lost the recipe (😭) but it went in "empanadas": little shortening-based turnovers with ground beef and chili sauce for 70's appetizer trays.

Yeah, I always sort of wondered whether that was a weekly charge or what. I feel like it had to have been. ISTR when I went to school a decade-and-change later (though not in W-B), the billing was always weekly. (By the time I came across that paper, no one was around to ask.)

That's pretty much what I came up with other than I found so many variants for "box" of tomatoes. But seeing 8 pounds in your recipe does make a ~10# box the most likely.

I would ask if you have Williamses in your family tree but I think that's kinda like asking about Jones or Smith, in W-B. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Oh incredible, Wilkes-Barre is exactly where my ancestral recipe that mentions "mangos" is from! (I don't think any living relatives ever made/had it; some of the meanings of the quantities are lost in the mists of time: how many tomatoes are in "a box"?)

Oh that's fascinating... I have a vintage recipe like that except the "mango" refered to is green bell pepper.
