It was nice while it lasted. The Hugfairy Account has been suspended and at the moment I donβt think appealing it makes sense as the spam behaviour is part of the bot.
I may make other such bots in the future maybe with some more hard restrictions though.
Thanks, and a big hug to everyone π«
I was thinking the same but didnβt. Maybe tomorrow
Well I followed both the accounts
Now that we have blue checks, when do we get AskPerplexity
So who will verify me
So Domain Verification will just become a way for people to use their domains as usernames, and actual verification is the blue tick.
And as of now we donβt know how less popular uses like myself would get verified by BlueSky
You should remove the @ before the username
Thank you @hugfairy.bsky.social
Thatβs the issue and sort of out of my hands. Itβs a limitation from Bluesky itself
Your Bluesky username. It will redirect you to a login
Are you by any chance on an older iOS version?
Much appreciated!

It went down and I didnβt pay attention
Look what I found today
Dear #atproto devs I love you but we sometimes the docs are a complicated mess for us normie web devs. So as a proud web dev I decided to make a guide in simple words on how to Implement ATProto OAuth
ATProto OAuth Quickstart Guide

Will the subscription be for client side features only or would it affect some stuff on the atproto side?
Itβs fine if the paid features are for the BlueSky client and donβt affect the underlying atproto in any way. Other clients can implement the features for any other price model (or for free).
yes please yell at me *after* we fuck up, or maybe if you notice the car has been steered off the road. I feel like we're driving down the highway between the lines right now and people are in the backseat yelling "STAY ON THE ROAD! WATCH OUT!"
I just completed "Historian Hysteria" - Day 1 - Advent of Code 2024 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/1
Imagine having a tea with a Python script β comforting, a little confusing, yet undeniably engaging.

is there more explanation on how this would work? is a reserved handle permanently reserved for me, or is it a n-day reservation and then anyone can take it?
i think organizations can run their own labellers (and maybe a third party service that helps them with it), which basically labels their employees' account however they want
What I would love to have is someone writing a research paper on this which explains it properly and then maybe more work can be done on it. I am afraid that this will become a lost art
This is something I have been wanting to understand since many years. Instead of a language or code, I think calling it an encoding system would be more appropriate. A good comparison would be the Plus Codes System developed by google for street addresses
Probably a slow rollout, but canβt wait
Donβt have the option yet
