The problem with Democrats is that they still think they can use legislative procedures and public pressure to control Trump and extract something of value when the stars align and desired outcomes overlap. See Bernie saying he’ll work with Trump on capping credit card interest at 10%
He’s become a brand and he clearly thought the benefits of performing outweighed the liabilities.

You can’t be a sellout if you never bought into a greater cause or worldview to begin with. It’s not like he’s Chuck D or Zach de la Rocha.

I’ve been trying to summon some outrage over Snoop Dogg playing Trump’s inauguration but I couldn’t muster any. On review it wasn’t surprising. His entire oeuvre has been party songs and making $$$.
