With thanks and help from the local birders we managed to see a very camouflaged Bittern and Water Rail, also C30 Siskins with Goldfinches, 2 Egyptian geese, 2 possibly 3 Marsh Harriers, L+GC Greebs, Shelduck, Wigeon, teal, Shoveler, Malard and Gadwall

The flock of Tree Sparrows seems to be getting larger( or I just didn't count properly last week) with 50+ birds in with 12 Yellowhammers 8 Reed buntings 14 Goldfinchs and a large flock of Linnets in the game cover!

Sanderling with a leg ring
A couple of Sanderling running along the tide line

A quick trip out in my converted work van to Filey.
Highlights were the 51 Sanderlings running along the tide line, at least 2 had rings on, 2 Razorbills out in the bay and 42 Oystercatchers on the top of the brigg on a very windy day.
