Good to be able to catch-up with the Waxwing at Acaster Malbis today, despite it being wet and grey.
We could walk to see it too! (12 miles 6 each way)
Unfortunately not a patch tick!

A great day on the @ldvnnr.bsky.social with another chance to see the White-tailed eagle which didn't disappoint, giving a good flight view showing its enormous wings.

The flock of Tree Sparrows seems to be getting larger( or I just didn't count properly last week) with 50+ birds in with 12 Yellowhammers 8 Reed buntings 14 Goldfinchs and a large flock of Linnets in the game cover!

A quick trip out in my converted work van to Filey.
Highlights were the 51 Sanderlings running along the tide line, at least 2 had rings on, 2 Razorbills out in the bay and 42 Oystercatchers on the top of the brigg on a very windy day.
