Hampton Institute @HamptonThink A majority of working-class debt is generated by acquiring housing, education, medical care, transportation, and groceries. We aren't "living above our means." Capitalists are forcing us into debt for just living, despite working multiple jobs and countless hours a week.
I commented to someone just the other day that the costs of things is becoming less relevant because "financing". Now it's about "can you afford a payment / subscription?" rather than "can you afford said-thing?" Eternal debt is 100% the model the corporate class is going for.
