A few months ago i rented the movie via Amazon as I hadn't seen it in pretty much decades and honestly still loved it. T his is a fun thread! I wasn't in the fandom either but a good friend wrote in it, a lot. Good stuff.

I noticed last night it's been 18 days since I posted anything - part of the reason, at least the last week, has been this fic. Everything that Foxxcub said but also, I can't remember when a scary story has truly convinced me. This one sure did. I was OWNED. Highly, highly recommend this.

I have an evil antique chair too help me... granny-type floral print chair of ancient origin aka my husband's grandparent, with deadly wooden swans carved into arms part and i better not start seeing this chair in my dreams.

Now i have a friend reading it - they're on ch. 7 now and i can't wait til they hit certain points - heh heh - and I am on ch. 16 - been reading at night on the porch with the dog keeping me safe (lies, he hasn't a protective bone in his body)

I read that damn chair scene RIGHT BEFORE BED. And so funny is I HAVE an inherited chair along this line with wood carvings (of swans) and I picture THAT CHAIR.
